The leading lady of Sudhir Mishra's next directorial venture Mehrunissa has been zeroed down and it is none other than the sultry Chitrangda Singh. Chitrangda has surpassed the likes of Vidya Balan and Katrina Kaif to bag this role.
In the film, Chitrangda will be seen romancing Rishi Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan. Mehrunissa is the story of a female actor in the 1970s and traces her journey from the age of 20 to the present when she is 62.
Chitrangda to play the lead in MehrunissaMehrunissa will be Chitrangda's third film with the director Sudhir Mishra after Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi and Yeh Saali Zindagi.
The film is jointly produced by Sudhir Mishra, Nikhil Advani and DAR Motion Pictures.
