We’ve all heard of films running into trouble with the censor board for various reasons. However the upcoming Sajid Khan film produced by Sajid Nadiadwala – Housefull 2 ran into a spot of trouble when a few animal activists urged the censor board not to approve the film, as they were unsure if the producers had acquired the correct permissions to shoot with animals in the film.
Bollywood Hungama has since learnt that all the requisite permissions were in place and the premiere and the release will go ahead as planned. Apparently since the scenes were shot in London the requisite permissions had been obtained from the board there, apart from the Animal Welfare Board in Chennai.
With the matter now closed Housefull 2 will release as scheduled on this Friday (April 6) with its Singapore premiere taking place today.
