en Bollywood News Celina floors rugby star Monty Beetham at her international film premiere

One month after the movie Chori Chori Chupke Chupke, the Salman Khan-Preity Zinta-Rani Mukherjee starrer, was clandestinely available and pirated all over, it will be released all over the world under the supervision of the Special Court constituted for the trial of Bharat Shah, the financier of the movie.

The former Film Federation of India president Santosh Kumar Jain will execute the release. Special Court Judge A P Bhangale gave these directions Monday afternoon. Jain is currently the president of the Central Cine Circuit Association, one of the industry distribution bodies. The ramifications of the judgement are awaited as Judge Bhangale is still conducting court proceedings.

The judge had earlier rejected Mahesh Bhatt as the industry co-ordinator for the movie. Bharat Shah's lawyers had proposed Mahesh Bhatt for the task.

Scheduled to release on December 22, the film's release was in jeopardy after the producer Nazeem Rizvi was arrested on December 13 on charges of being a part of the underworld.

The seized the negatives of the film are kept at the Ad Labs film processing under controlled temperature to ensure that the prints were not damaged by weather conditions.

Rizvi as well as Bharat Shah, who controls the world rights for the film, had staked their claim for the film in the first week of January. However, the crime branch then arrested Shah too on January 8.

The Mumbai police who had earlier argued against the release, turned around stating that it had no objection to the release of the film. The Mumbai police were insistent that the release supervised by the court receiver, ensure that all the money should go into the government treasury.

In a mature judgment, Judge Bhangale was convinced by the argument that a number of distributors and small financiers, who had put in money on the film, would go bankrupt if the film was not released.
