Even before his first film, PYAAR TUNE KYA KIYA, had released, topnotch producers were showing keen interest in Rajat Mukherjee's work. According to grapevine, Boney Kapoor and Vashu Bhagnani had already signed Rajat for their forthcoming projects. Even Ramgopal Varma was said to be planning a film with him, starring Urmila, Fardeen and Aftab (in a negative role). But Rajat dismisses the news as rumours when we ask him about the projects. "There have been talks with various people, but there is nothing on paper. I haven't signed any project yet," he states. Mentor Ramgopal Varma also clarifies that there is nothing in the offing with Rajat. "It's too early to think of another project, since he is still working on the script right now," he divulges.
