Last year, we saw the merger of cricket and Bollywood, with the formation of the Celebrity Cricket League. Well, this year we have more to look forward to as Bollywood Hungama has learnt that Boney Kapoor and Sri Devi has acquired the Bengal team in this year's CCL.
Speaking to Boney, we are told, "Yes, Sohail Khan owns the Mumbai team with Salman as the mentor, while Priyadarshan along with his wife has bought the Malayalam club and I have acquired the Bangla team."
When quizzed about the members and mentor of the team, Boney says, "Right now it's real early to talk about this. As for the rumour that Sourav Ganguly being the mentor for my team, we are still to finalize that and are in talks for the same."
