E. Niwas is also flying high, despite DUM fighting a losing battle at the box-office. Niwas has bagged yet another prestigious assignment, to be produced by Vijay [AJNABEE] Galani. Titled BARDASHT, the film will star Bobby Deol and Lara Dutta in the lead. We are planning to cast Sharman Joshi in the second lead, while one more heroine [opposite Sharman] is currently under finalisation, Niwas reveals.
BARDASHT will be launched on February 25 with a mahurat ceremony, while the shooting will begin from March 15. Is it a remake, like his previous film DUM? No remakes for me, Niwas laughs, It's an original subject, penned by Vikram Bhatt. Incidentally, Niwas is, for the first time, directing two films simultaneously TUM [Saif Ali Khan, Aftab Shivdasani, Jackie Shroff, Saakshi Shivanand] and BARDASHT.
