Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority's (MHADA) records have revealed that Maa Sherawali Productions, in which film producer Bobby Anand was a partner, paid seven cheques totalling Rs 50 lakh for actress Monica Bedi's two flats in MHADA's Oshiwara complex.
The cheques were issued at regular intervals from October 2000 till April 2001 towards the amount due on the flats. The issued cheques do not carry payee's name though they have been signed on behalf of Maa Sherawali Productions.
Bobby Anand was a partner in Maa Sherawali Productions. He has produced a few films, including Bulandi and Ravan Raj.
