This Anurag Kashyap's film is stirring some serious controversy just as the theme of his movie. Special TADA judge P D Kode has issued a showcause notice to the producer, director and distributor of Black Friday asking them why the court should not prohibit the release of their film on the 1993 serial blasts. The notice was issued on Thursday in response to an application filed by several of the accused in the bomb blasts case who are in judicial custody. Their counsel Majeed Memon reasoned that the film's release coincided at a time when the court was to give verdict about the apprehended. The film whose sensational tagline reads, 'Know the true story about the blasts' has a probable possibility of hampering or influencing the verdict results. The release has been tentatively stalled and case has been rested for Jan 24. The film had recently whipped up some curiosity thanks to an intensely passionate track, 'Bandeh' by Indian Ocean.
