The length of BAS ITNA SA KHWAAB HAI has been shortened by the producers of the film. Taking cue from the response, the Behls decided to trim the film by 10 minutes. The cuts were carried out on the day of release itself. The portions that have been deleted are the song in the climax (Jhoome Ye Zameen), part of another song (Chhota Sa Man Hai) and one scene. However, the trimming hasnt helped boost the box-office status of the film, since the collections continue to slide downwards.
