For the past few weeks, the news of an impending wedding between Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover have been doing the rounds. While neither of the two confirmed or denied it, the speculations continued and now, the two have officially come together to announce the same.
Actress Bipasha Basu and her co-actor and renowned TV star Karan Singh Grover have come together and given a joint statement to the media about their wedding. Their statement reads, "We are happy to finally share the good news with everyone. 30th April 2016 is the big day and we cannot thank our family, friends, fans and well-wishers enough for all their love and support. The wedding will be a private intimate affair. Our deepest gratitude for respecting our privacy this far. We hope to have your continued blessings and warm wishes as we embark on this new journey together." From what we hear, the said wedding will be a grand affair that will continue for two-three days and will be held at the plush St. Regis hotel in South Mumbai.
Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover met on the sets of the latter's debut film Alone, which had the Bong bombshell playing a double role. While rumours of their affair has been doing the rounds ever since, the duo always maintained their 'good friends' statement. The announcement of the wedding has come after Karan's divorce with co-star Jennifer Winget came through.
