The film industry is a place with cut-throat competition and changing equations among its actors, but we have two legendary actors Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth who have maintained their friendship over the years. They first worked together in the 80's hit Andha Kanoon, followed by Giraftaar and Hum.
Last week we reported that Rajinikanth, who has been diagnosed with renal failure leading to kidney complications was being taken to Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore for further treatment. But the unknown fact is that Big B, who was in constant touch with Rajinikanth's wife Latha and his doctors, was the one who suggested this hospital and also personally spoke to the doctors there.
Bachchan had been to Mount Elizabeth Hospital in 2009 when his friend Amar Singh had his kidney transplant done there. He was impressed with the hospital as the treatment there is far superior and faster, and recommended it to Latha when she wanted to take Rajini out of the country for treatment.
