The latest whacked-out whisper doing the rounds is, he has agreed to play the host of a KBC-styled game show in Danny Boyle's Slumdog Millionaire, the Mumbai-based adaptation of the Vikas Swarups novel QA about a 18-year old boy who wins the top prize in Kaun Banega Crorepati. A Mumbai tabloid quotes "a reliable source" as saying, "Amitabh Bachchan is in talks with Danny and his casting agents. If all goes well, Bachchan will start filming in January."
