Okay, everyone's curious to know whether Ranbir Kapoor's BARFI! has been postponed. Initially slated for release on 13 July, the rumor doing the rounds of the industry is that the film won't make it on the scheduled date, since a substantial chunk of shooting is yet to be completed. The sources claim that the film will now arrive on 31 August, thus clashing with Shirish Kunder's Akshay - Sonakshi starrer JOKER.
Siddharth Roy Kapur of UTV admits that the shooting of BARFI! is still pending, "but, as of now, we are looking at releasing it on 13 July, the date we have assigned to the film. Only if the filming process gets delayed for some reason will we choose another date," he clarifies. However, Siddharth denies BARFI! will clash with JOKER, since both are UTV films and obviously, the studio won't like to release two keenly anticipated movies in the same week.
