B4U to launch new channel from 3rd September:

B4U will launch a round-the-clock entertainment channel from 3rd September, in addition to the existing B4U Music. The launch of the new channel was announced at a get-together on 29th August at Hotel Oberoi Towers, Mumbai. IndiaFM was the only dotcom that was invited at the press conference. The USP of the new channel is that it will screen one new film every Saturday at 9.30 p.m. The first film, in all probability, would be the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Baadshah, according to Bharat Shah. Besides the new channel, a round-the-clock news channel as well channels in Tamil and Telugu languages are in the pipeline. Kishore Lulla, Bharat Shah, Lakshmi Nivas Mittal and Gokul Binani are the promoters of the channel, while Ravi Gupta and Sunil Lulla are the Executive Directors. According to Kishore Lulla, the new channel of B4U will consist of three bands -- (i) The Entertainment Band will be Bollywood-driven with a galaxy of star presence. From cookery shows to fitness shows, the stars will host the show, sharing their fitness regimes as well as lifestyle; (ii) The next band is soaps and serials, but with a difference. These soaps will have Bollywood stars acting in them; (iii) The third band is the movie band, consisting of three movies every day from the vast library of films this channel has. B4U also plans to fund 10-15 films a year as well as diversify in the Internet sector.
