‘B.R.R.B.’ is hot

The Govind Menon-Mallika Sherawat combination in KIS KIS KI KISMAT may have gone unnoticed at the box-office, but their forthcoming project together, BACHKE REHNA RE BABA, has caught on the fancy of those who’ve watched the promos of the film. Of course, this time around, Ms. Sherawat has Rekha for company and the fresh casting and the naughty antics of the duo has created a strong buzz for the film. Although a majority of films are still waiting for buyers to knock on their doors, BACHKE REHNA RE BABA has been lucky enough to have attracted the attention of distributors and also Boney Kapoor. According to BACHKE REHNA RE BABA producer Vijay Galani, Boney was so impressed with the feel of the film that he has acquired the distribution rights of the film for several territories. We had clinched the deal for a few territories initially, while a few circuits were still unsold. But Boney evinced a keen interest after he watched the promos and acquired the balance territories at one go, Galani states. While BACHKE REHNA RE BABA has received a positive feedback from within the industry, let’s hope it gets an equally rousing reception from the viewers when it hits the marquee this summer.
