Earlier, we had reported that Aanand L. Rai’s production Manmarziyan had been stalled due to certain creative differences between the director and producer. Now, the leading man of the film, Ayushmann Khurrana maintained that the shoot will resume in August this year.
Just last week, director Sameer Sharma announced that the film Manmarziyan which was being shot in Punjab was stalled. Claiming that it was a sort of a ‘break’, the filmmaker had mentioned that they are making a few changes. Ending at that he had further refrained from revealing any more details about the same, stating that it was an ‘internal matter’. Now, it seems that the break has been extended for the next five months as the next schedule has been pushed to August. However, the release date of the film was said to be in September this year but neither the actor nor the director has spoken about the changes in the same.
On the other hand, Ayushmann, who is excited about resuming the shoot in the next few months, also added that this will be the first time where he will play a matured character. His Dum Laga Ke Haisha co-star Bhumi Pednekar, who plays the leading lady in the film, too will be seen in a role quite contrasting to her debut character. Produced by Aanand L. Rai in association with Eros International, the third wheel in this love triangle is Vicky Kaushal of Masaan fame.
