There has been much speculation whether Bollywood beauty Aishwarya Rai would disrobe for her newly acquired roles for big Hollywood projects like Chaos, Singularity and Mistress of Spices. The buzz gained momentum with the fact that Aishwarya's role in Coline Serreau's Chaos (co-starring Meryl Streep) is that of a prostitute.
However Rai has clarified that she won't go nude onscreen for any film. She added that nudity is not something that turns her on as an actress and it is hardly a part of her job profile as an actress, whether Bollywood or Hollywood. She even clarified that she won't use a body double to play the intimate scenes, as a layman would only imagine Rai in the double.
Aishwarya's first English film Bride and Prejudice will release on October 8.
