Arijit Singh couldn't have hoped for a more fruitful journey. As he conquers new pinnacles as a singer, Arijit is all set to assume a new role as a judge and mentor on the singing contest Star Plus' India's Raw Star.
Arijit Singh confirms his new role as reality show judgeWhile so far Arijit had not confirmed his presence on the show he finally lets the cat out of the bag admitting, "Yes I am doing the show. I am always on the lookout for new musical challenges. I started as contestant on a music reality show Fame Gurkul and now I am back on another show as a mentor. It's very much exciting."
Arijit has not yet locked in on the dates when he will shoot for the show as there are song recordings and concerts to consider in the singer's busy schedule. "The dates are still being worked out. But I am very happy with my career so far. In spite of a few stumbling blocks it's been an interesting journey so far."
Recently Arijit got into an unsavoury controversy when his song in Sultan was scrapped apparently at Salman Khan's behest.
Arijit shrugs off the controversy. "I've moved on. If some people are still talking about it, let them. For me it's in the past now. There is so much to look forward to."
