Apple hopes to popularize its technologies within Bollywood by enticing them into using Power Mac G5s in its editing suites. According to Richard, product-marketing manager for Apple's Asia Pacific region, India is a huge untapped market for Apple as far as Bollywood was concerned. Bollywood, according to Apple is potentially a large market.

Some Indian filmmakers like Padam Kumar & Rohan Sippy have already used Power Macs or Final Cut Pro to edit productions. Rohan Sippy, who is directing "Kuch Naa Kaho said "It made life a lot simpler and we were able to get things done a lot faster."

Apple hopes Power Mac G5s and Final Cut Pro 4 will help Indian filmmakers through introducing technologies moviemakers can use to match Hollywood's special effects.
