After the huge success of Ek Tha Tiger, Salman Khan and Aditya Chopra teamed up again for yet another big film titled Sultan. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film is a sports drama about a wrestler. Considered to be one of the biggest films of 2016, Salman Khan's Sultan didn't have a leading lady for a long time. A number of established names were being tossed for the film by the media but finally the suspense has ended today.
YRF today announced Anushka Sharma's name as the lead actress of Sultan. This is definitely a huge project for Sharma as she will be featuring opposite Salman Khan for the first time.
Salman Khan starrer Sultan is scheduled to release on Eid 2016 and will clash with Shah Rukh Khan starrer Raees at the box office.
