While his film Ugly is all set to release this year, we hear that filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has some new plans to welcome 2015. The director has decided to create a calendar in complete Bollywood style for film lovers.
Anurag Kashyap in a unique move of sorts will be launching a 2015 calendar featuring posters of some of the famous Indian classics which have never been made public before. The calendar titled 'The Beginnings of Indian Cinema' will have the posters of those films which have been milestones in the development of cinema and entertainment; like first Indian talkie Alam Ara (1931), the first colour film Kisan Kanya (1937), the first Marathi talkie directed by V. Shantaram titled Ayodhyecha Raja (King of Ayodhya), which was also later released in Hindi. Along with them, other films that will feature in this calendar are Aadmi (1939), bilingual film Duniya Na Mane (1937), Acchut Kanya (1936), P.C. Barua's Devdas (1935) among others.

Expressing his passion towards cinema, Bohra thinks that these are the rare gems of the industry and considering the changing artwork of film posters over the century, this art must be preserved. According to him, welcoming the New Year with this calendar is the best way to launch it.
