While Vishal Bhardwaj gets ready to release a kids-centric film The Blue Umbrella, there are other directors who have the same idea of tapping into impressionable minds to generate innocence purity and authenticity.
Director Samir Karnik completed one film Nanhe (earlier entitled Nanhe Jaisalmer) about a child actor Dwij Yadav's bonding with Bobby Deol. Karnik is now in the middle of another film Roshan spotlighting the same Dwij-Bobby pair's bonding.
Now it's Anupam Kher's turn. He's all set to star in Hawai Dada, a fantasy drama about the relationship between a grandfather and grand-daughter that Anupam and Satish Kaushik's production house Karol Bagh Films will produce in collaboration with UTV.
