Krrish brought the concept of super-hero into the limelight and its special effects definitely set a benchmark. Now director Mahesh Kothare is all set to direct a Marathi film which will have a super-hero as the main protagonist and special effects as well. Mahesh said, My film is titled Zabardast and will go on floors on December 13. On asking him about the cost of special effects, he was reluctant to talk about it. All I can say is that my film is going to be about 3 times more costlier that a regular Marathi film. There will be lots of 3D effects, cable and mechanical effects as well as digital compositing. Along with that there will be dance and music as well, said he. Speaking about the music, word was there that A.R. Rehman was going to be roped in for the film. That is true but Rehman does only Hindi and south language films. So he is thinking about this offer. Not many know that Mahesh Kothare was also planning to make a Hindi film with Boman Irani and Tusshar Kapoor in the lead. Yes, that film is titled Front Page and will go on floors in March 2007.
