The singing sensation Ankit Tiwari who shot to fame with the hit track 'Sun Raha Hai' from Aashiqui 2, has been arrested along with his brother. The siblings have been arrested after charges of rape were leveled against them at the Versova police station.
Apparently, the victim who has filed charges for rape against the two is Ankit's girlfriend. In her allegation, she claims that Ankit, under the pretext of marrying her, engaged in a relationship with her. However, he later went back on his word. Adding to this, the victim claimed that Ankit's brother too threatened her on this matter.
