Almost a year ago, Ripples (YEH TERAA GHAR YEH MERAA GHAR, ROSHNI) had signed Anil Kapoor for their forthcoming venture, to be directed by Satish Kaushik. However, the film did not make any progress beyond a song recording, mainly because the actor-director combo started its own venture, BADHAAI HO BADHAAI, and diverted all their time and energies to their home-production.
But the project will be revived shortly, according to Rajesh Bhatia, one of the heads of Ripples. The b.o. response to BADHAAI HO BADHAAI hasn't dejected us, Bhatia says, adding in the same breath, But we intend adding a young hero in the set-up, making it a two-hero film. The other hero, Bhatia says, hasn't been finalized yet.
