London is gearing up for the biggest extravaganza- The 2012 Olympics which is scheduled to begin later this month. Recently we told you about Karan Johar attending the Olympics in London and now there's news that even Anil Kapoor would also be seen at the same event.
Anil, who is currently shooting for Sanjay Gupta's Shootout at Wadala, has taken a few days off from shoot to attend the Olympics. The actor was invited by Hollywood filmmaker Danny Boyle to attend the grand opening ceremony of the Olympics on 27th July. Danny is in-charge of directing the spectacular opening ceremony. However, Anil not only got an invite from Danny but also received an invite from famous steel tycoon Laxmi Mittal who is one of the sponsors of the event.
Anil is very keen on attending the action filled sports event and would be joining Prime Minister Dr.Manmohan Singh and filmmaker Karan Johar as the few celebrated Indians who have got a special invite to attend the London Olympics. The actor has even planned to meet all the Indian players participating in the various games.
