The income tax authorities have attached Amitabh Bachchan's bank accounts and his bungalow in Bombay to recover tax dues worth Rs 132.5 million. IT authorities have also attached IDBI bonds worth Rs 2.5 million and 25,000 shares of IPCA Laboratories Limited which the actor owned. Amitabh Bachchan Corporation Limited also had outstanding tax dues of Rs 181.8 million. However, the company does not own any immovable property or any liquid assets from which the tax dues could be recovered. The Board for Industrial and Financial Reconstruction has declared ABCL a sick unit. Amitabh is not the only star to be on the list of tax defaulters. The list also includes Mahesh Bhatt, Jaya Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Yash Chopra, Subhash Ghai, Sridevi, Sunil Shetty, Ramgopal Verma, Ajay Devgan, Karisma Kapoor & Pooja Bhatt.
