Remember Amitabh Dayal? He's the small time theatre actor who made his debut as an encounter specialist cop in N Chandra's Kagaar in 2003. The film did not work wonders for him. Nevertheless the actor, to everyone's surprise has turned producer. Dayal is producing a Marathi film Aag to be directed by Shiv Dershan. The film is based on a gruesome real-life incident of mass rape in a small village, Kotheywadi near Ahmednagar in Maharashtra. The film will unmask the face of the so-called civilized society. Dayal is keeping himself restricted only till producing the film and is not acting in it. Aag stars Ramesh Dev, Mitali Jagtap, Upendra Limaye, Vinay Apte, Pankuj Vishnu and Milind Shinde. The film is slated for a July release.
