Amitabh Bachchan will be flying to Patna to watch his upcoming film Aarakshan with Mr. Nitish Kumar, the Chief Minister of Bihar. Nitish Kumar is an ardent fan of Big B and expressed his desire to watch the film with Bachchan and director Prakash Jha.
Nitish Kumar and Prakash Jha have been friends for a very long time. Jha had even campaigned for Nitish Kumar during the elections in Bihar. Jha invited Nitish Kumar for a special screening of Aarakshan when the latter came to visit a new restaurant at Prakash Jha's shopping mall in Patna. Nitishji then told Prakash that he would watch the film only if Big B and Prakash both were present at the screening.
Jha conveyed the Chief Minister's request to Amitabh Bachchan who immediately agreed to fly down to Patna for a day despite his hectic schedule. Big B's travel arrangements to the city are currently being made.
Aarakshan revolves around caste-based reservations in government jobs and educational institutions. The film, which releases on August 12, also stars Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, Manoj Bajpayee and Prateik.
