Amitabh Bachchan has always been one of filmmaker R. Balki’s favourites. Without his presence, the filmmaker’s projects are sort of incomplete and even in his last directorial, he had the megastar playing a cameo. Now, the actor will once again be seen in R. Balki's next.
Amitabh Bachchan and Akshay Kumar team up once againEarlier we had reported R. Balki for the first time will direct Akshay Kumar in his forthcoming film. Though the details of the film have been safely guarded, we hear that Balki is busy developing the character that will be played by Big B in the film. On the other hand, it is being said that Akshay was impressed with the role offered to him by Balki. Akshay Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan have previously done many films together which includes Aankhen, Waqt: A Race Against Time, Khakee, Ek Rishtaa, Family: Ties of Blood among others.
It is being said that R. Balki’s next is a slice-of-life film. On the other hand, details of when the film will go on floor and so on are yet to be finalized since Akshay already has couple of films already rolling as per schedule.
