More on Ratan Jain and Venus' productions! The Jain brothers of Venus are shooting their Priyadarshan-directed HUNGAMA at jet speed and are planning to release the film in April/May next year. We should wrap the shooting much earlier, but want to time its release in April during the vacations, Ratan Jain confides.
Incidentally, Venus has just registered a catchy title for one of their forthcoming films AMAR AKBAR AND TONEY. Ratan Jain laughs aloud when we ask him about its cast and director. Nothing is finalised yet, he says, We just heard a one-line of the story and decided to register the title. But we've yet to work out the economics of the project before we make a formal announcement.
