Despite his versatile role, Ajay Devgan has time and again been tagged as the action hero or the silence intense performer. But perhaps with his role in his next film, he can silence his detractors. In his next film to be directed by Harry Baweja (Dilwale, Diljale, Qayamat), Devgan will play a challenging role of a mentally challenged man. The film is about the relationship between a handicapped father and his daughter when the mother runs away. The film will go on floors in August and will be shot in a single schedule in Shimla.
Though Devgan has played brother of a mentally challenged boy in Tera Mera Saath Rahen and a split-personality character in Deewangee, this is the first time he will play the handicapped person. And considering what such a role did to the career graph of Hrithik Roshan in Koi Mil Gaya, Devgan might be looking forward to this one. So are we!
