We were the first to break the news that Madhur Bhandarkar was working on a script on jail inmates, after CHANDNI BAR. The latest news is that Bhaskar Shetty has signed Madhur to direct his production debut. The film, titled JAIL, has a very hard-hitting story, says Madhur, adding that he has already visited a number of jails, where he met several prisoners and cops. It is a foregone conclusion that the film will star Sunil Shetty, since Bhaskar is the business manager of the actor. One more hero is being finalised for the project, which will roll in March and will be completed in a start-to-finish schedule. Sources reveal that Madhur has confirmed Nandita Das for the project, while one more heroine is being considered for the second lead.
