Incorporating a song after the films theatrical release has become a practice. There have been a few instances of producers holding back a song and adding it only after the film completes its first/second week.
Time Magnetics (India) Ltd., the makers of JODI NO. 1, are adding a song Ankh Lad Gayee in the coming days. The song will be submitted for censorship on Monday/Tuesday and will be incorporated in the prints this week itself. We have decided not to charge a single penny from the distributors for developing and printing of this number, co-producer Hasmukh Shah tells me.
The song has been picturised on Hans Raj Hans, a pop singer.
