Aamir Raza Hussain has been signed by Jhamu Sughand to direct his next film. According to the grapevine, the film is based on the Kargil war. Hussain wants to approach Naseeruddin Shah and Om Puri to play pivotal roles in the film that has been titled LAKEER. It may be recalled that Hussain had made a play on the same subject, which has been appreciated by the masses and the critics. Let me tell you that J.P. Duttas TIGER HILL is also based on the same subject. In fact, we have been told that Duttas father, O.P. Dutta, was inspired to write the film after watching Hussains play, staged at Bandra Reclamation early this year.
