Rumours are rife that Anil Sharma's magnum opus AB TUMHARE HAVALE WATAN SATHIYO won't make it in the Diwali week. Reportedly, a prominent distributor of the film has expressed his desire to release the film on December 3, instead of clashing with multiple films in the Diwali week. Yes, these rumours have gathered momentum of late, the GADAR maker confirms the development, It's true that the North distributor has requested me to postpone the release to December 3 since he's not getting a good chain of theatres. Will he give in to the demands of this prominent distributor? Well, I have no issues if my film releases in the pre-Diwali week or the Diwali week or the post-Diwali week. Believe me, I am not an egocentric person. Also, I don't make films to capitalize on the 3-day festive season. My films should run to packed houses for the entire week, not just three days. So, what's the release date - November 12 or December 3? Everybody around me is insisting that I release it on November 12. But if my distributors insist that we shift the film ahead since we would get a better chain of theatres, I wouldn't mind doing so for the betterment of the project, he divulges. Will A.T.H.W.S. arrive in Diwali or not, a clearer picture will emerge in a few days from now. Watch this space!
