Midweek B.O.: ‘Badmaash Company’ has robust weekend

Badmaash Company	Shahid Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Vir Das, Meiyang Chang, Anupam Kher, Kiran Juneja, Pawan Malhotra	Interesting premise, wonderful performances, tuneful music and fine direction	Penultimate 25-odd minutes	Fared well over the weekend. The film had a potent Friday and an equally healthy Saturday and Sunday. With no major opposition till 21 May ['Kites'], the film should have a decent run in the forthcoming days. Also, the costs [including P & A] are below Rs. 30 cr. and the amount should be recovered from theatrical and non-theatrical avenues
Housefull	Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Arjun Rampal, Deepika Padukone, Lara Dutta, Jiah Khan, Randhir Kapoor, Boman Irani, Chunkey Pandey, Lilette Dubey, Malaika Arora Khan	Gripping second half and skilled performances by each and every member of its cast	Inconsistent screenplay at places	With 'Badmaash Company' taking away a chunk of shows/screens at cineplexes and proving the first choice of moviegoers this weekend, 'House Full' slipped to No. 2 position this weekend. Despite a new opposition, the film maintained quite well in its second weekend at several places. Overall, the 10-day total is very impressive
