3.5 Very Good

Put this one straight into the ranks of the kind of movies Golmaal( Amol Palekar) or recently Khosla ka ghosla, very subtle and very effective depection of the village in India. Expect no govinda govinda fr creating drama. And the movie seldom gets preachy though it tackles issues like widow remarriage, politics and many more without being judgemental about any of them. Liked the idea that the issues were just touched upon as a matter of fact and were not made into a grim film!
