In a world that disregards the existence and identity of transgenders, Na Raja Na Rani aims to throw some light on the painful condition of eunuchs.

The film begins with tracing the story of Hemant, who was born a eunuch. In order to avoid being shunned by the society as well... as to save his family from the humiliation, Hemant decides to flee to Mumbai where he becomes a famous eunuch Hemangi owing to his good looks. But the regressive and cruel society continues to impose torture on him and his transgender friends that eventually pushes Hemant aka Hemangi to take a step that would leave everyone around him distraught, helpless and in grief.
