"By Accident", Milenge Milenge didn't realize that it will Atkenge Atkenge for at least 5 years. But "By Accident", it arrive in 2010 and "By Accident", fails. A well-remade version of "By Accident", Milenge Milenge brings up the destiny magic thing and makes it flow all over it for at least 2 hours. Every ten minutes, "Destiny" is the word which comes up from every actor's mouth. The hero-heroine meeting = destiny, their separation = destiny, after, 3 years they meet each other = destiny.
Another thing is that when you will watch this movie, it will clearly make you understand that its structure, style, dialogues, screenplay almost everything is 5 years old. These kinds of dialogues, screenplay today will be entitled "Idiotic". Milenge Milenge would have made its place 5 years ago(or maybe not), today these type of films can't run in box-office.
PLOT - Amit A.K.A Immi(Shahid Kapur) is a chain smoker, great drinker & an awesome liar. Priya(Kareena Kapoor) is in search of a person who is exact opposite of Immi. But, Destiny united them(Or Immi's small joke as he says so) and also separate them. 3 years ago, after their marriage date is announced, they remember each other and wanted to be united again. The search starts from here and continues till the climax. At last, the most wonderful moment arrives, END CREDITS.
DIRECTION - With such an unmethodical story and with old-fashioned screenplay, Directing it well was very tough. Satish Kaushik tries hard, but Destiny is Destiny, right? Good Screenplay, Good Songs, Good Dialogues, Good Acting(Maybe It was not so bad) - everything feels "Baaki Hai" while watching the movie, and when the movie ends, it feels that "What The...". Boney Kapoor fails after a long time.
ACTING - Such a idiotic movie obviously contains low quality performances. The two things which stay unchanged in these 5 years are Kareena's Gorgeous Looks & Shahid's Cute & Charming Looks & style. The only person whose acting seemed to be good was Shahid. The rest were not so bad.
MUSIC - The song that mesmerizes is "Tum Chain Ho", the rest are worth only some times listen. If I was asked another good song except "Tum Chain Ho" that would be Milenge Milenge Title Track. Frankly, Many songs looked irrelevant. But "Tum Chain Ho" was very good for Sonu Nigam & it matched very good with Shahid-Kareena's Seaside romance. Allover, just about average.
VERDICT - Maybe Shahid knew that MILENGE MILENGE will not CHALENGE CHALENGE, so he almost didn't tweeted about Milenge Milenge. When you're watching MILENGE MILENGE, the thing you will think that HOW CAN THIS TYPE OF MOVIE RELEASE IN THIS CENTURY? Actually, Century is not the reason, in these 5 years, Bollywood has improved itself from "Milenge Milenge" To "DOSTANA" or "I HATE LUV STORYS" types. The final verdict for Milenge Milenge is that, it would've been better if Milenge Milenge released 5 years ago. It's a poor show all the way and a terrible letdown for many Shahid-Kareena Jodi Fans.
