I found the movie totally believable. Having heard of Intelligence reports of CIA, RAW, FBI etc we know that the Islamic terrorists go to great lengths to form sleeper cells and wreck havoc on unsuspecting non-Islamic countries. They are jealous of the growth non-Islamic nations, which goes against their faith in many ways. I have heard the excuse that US forces have killed innocent people in Iraq and Afghanistan. But the truth is that they invaded those countries after 9/11. Did anyone ever imagine that there would be no repercussions from USA after such a spectacular crime in New York? India should have learnt from US example.
Now coming to the movie, I found the role of Avantika especially extremely brave and patriotic to the country of her residence. She took great risk and went to bed with a ruthless killer to get more information about the main plan the terrorists. She was requested by Riyaz (an over-optimistic news-reporter Vivek Oberoi). The FBI team played by American actors was shown as extremely brave, non-partisan and swift, unlike Indian security forces which needed nearly 4days to liquidate a few in Mumbai. The Mumbai police with 2nd world war rifles were playing hide and seek with the 2 terrorists on the rampage.
The last scene was not realistic though. I found the emotion of Avantika totally misplaced. She should have finished the job in hand personally. I don’t believe, in reality, any sane woman would feel any sympathy for a pathological killer like Ehsan under any circumstances, or would like to be his wife or mother of his child ever!
