Cinematic Excellence. Thats how the film Jodha Akbar can be defined. Asutosh Gowariker bettered what Mr. K Asif had done decades before. Well Hrithik's acting skills are in too nascant stage to be compared with Mr Dilip Kumar, but may be 40 years from now, when Mughal e Azam and Jodha Akbar would be viewed, viewers would give equal credits to both the films. Jodha Akbar is a beautiful movie.In todays day & age when children learn more from watching (TV,Cinema,etc)movies as this makes them understand&love the pride, culture, history of our country! My daughter (12) loved the movie. It is historical but not boring at all! I would request all to watch this movie once...A beautiful cinematic experience.

The movie starts with AB’s voice giving you the history details of the film to unfold (so the movie is not difficult to understand). Jalaluddin from a young age was made to go to the battlefield. There are two battlefield fights, one is the scene with elephants, both of them are in the beginning of the film and in the end of the film there is a battle field ready but there is one to one fight but major part of the film is a love story. The story unfolds and you are told why Jodhaa’s father had to go to Akbar and ask him to marry his daughter. The rest of the film is the relationship between Jalal and jodha and the mothers. Hrithik looks regal and HANDSOME and acts so convincingly that I was all the time wondering how this man manages to do this every time, shortly we will have no words to describe hrithiks craft.
Ash looks very good and beautiful in some scenes and looks ordinary in some she has given a restricted performance. All the supporting actors are just perfect for the role given to them be it Sonu Sood, Poonam, Dheer, Khulbhusan kharbanda, Raza Murad some actors names I don’t know they too were very good. I cant pick up any person and say this one was not up to the mark, only wish knew all the actors names.
