First of all... its not a vulgar movie as its shown in trailers. its actually a good movie. Script is very thought out. Direction is very tight and there is very rare margine of finding errors. Casting is just perfect. Vidya is seductive all the time in the movie. You just want to see her forever. Arshad has given a serious roll but he is damn funny. Naseer is par excellense. with this kind of cheap rolls he has has done full justice. movie is defently better than kaminey. kaminey was dark movie. Even though the movie was shot in mumbai there are very less scenes of day light. Ishqiya is completely light and bright movie. There is no sorrow or dark side of life being shown in this movie. Second the story is easier to understand than kaminey... while in kaminey till interval the story is just getting built... Ishiqiya is clear in concept right from the first 15 minutes. Songs of the kaminey (apart from dhan te nen) was forcefully put in... While in ishqiya you love when song comes your way. and you actully wait for a song to come and refresh you. Music of the movie is far better than any other film in 2009. all songs are melodius and easy to humm... 2 classical songs by Rekha bharadwaj are not been shown much in promos but they are very class material. People were desparetly looking for such songs after delhi 6. End is little fast. End might have been given little more time with. Overall its a really great experience to watch this movie. Ya and final word... its not an action movie like omkara or kaminey... its a damn comedy stuff.
