Irada is a sensible, well researched and well intended film, ably directed by aparnaa. just as udta punjab dealt with the deadly drug menace in Punjab, this film deals with the issue of reverse boring, where industrial waste is discharged deep into the ground, thus polluting water and soil. this leads to many incidents of cancer and untimely deaths. naseeruddin, arshad, divya and sharad, have all put in fine performances. the film is not an edge of the seat thriller, but due credit needs to be given to the director for handling such a sensitive topic, which is rare in Bollywood.
