It is not 'The best movie eva' as 'advertised' on this site. It is in fact one of the most cliched movies I have ever seen. From 'A chocolate boy turning into one man army' to 'Him getting stabbed with a metal rod and yet surviving to finish off the very loud and extremly annoying bad guy' -everything has been done -and then done again -in those Mithun and Rajanikanth movies of the '80s and '90s. I am all for Revenge sagas as long as they are not following the same old route. Not only is the script cliched but the direction and to some extent acting are as well. You can actually 'feel' what is going to occur in the next scene espcially in the last 25 minutes or so. There is no novelty in this movie -apart from the 'memory loss angle' which can only contribute as much -that you would normally associate with an Amir Khan movie. It is 'Baazi' and 'Mela' all over again. I found it quite amusing that usually the movies with repetitive scripts are absolutely murdered on here in terms of the professional reviews and yet this movie has been hailed as the best thing since the butter naan.
