I have a huge fascination for the Anil and Madhuri jodi, as it was certainly the hit jodi of the late 80s and early 90s. Beta is another one of those films which brings them together. Madhuri is the soul of the film, and is absolutely magnificent. Anil is brilliant as usual, but I don't feel it was a performance that merited an award. Aruna Irani is very good too!
