Suniel Shetty to play a pivotal role in web series on the life of Veerapan?

Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty was last seen in the film Darbar starring Rajinikanth as the protagonist. Reportedly, the actor will next be seen in a pivotal role in AMR Ramesh's upcoming web series. The filmmaker has recently announced a web series on the life of sandalwood smuggler Veerappan and will be made in multiple languages.

According to reports, Suniel Shetty has been finalised to play the role of a cop in the series. The filmmaker narrated the script to the actor over call and the latter was reportedly very impressed with it.

 

Actor Kishore has been roped in to play the role of Veerappan, while the makers are approaching prominent celebrities across industries for important roles. An official announcement regarding the same will be made soon.

 

Meanwhile, Suniel Shetty is awaiting the release of his upcoming Malayalam film, Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham. The film is based on the life of Kunjali Marakkar, a naval chief of the Zamorin of Calicut.
