Riddhi Kumar calls The Raja Saab a career milestone opposite Prabhas: “Had a great time playing someone who’s both atrocious and adorable”

Actress Riddhi Kumar continues to build a diverse and dynamic filmography across languages and platforms. Her latest project, The Raja Saab, marks her next big-screen appearance opposite Prabhas. The recently launched trailer of the film has received a strong response from audiences in the South and beyond.

Sharing her excitement, Riddhi said, “It feels absolutely exciting and ecstatic to finally have the trailer out and for the world to see the result of nearly three years of work. Prabhas has such an incredible fan following, and I feel lucky and grateful to be a part of this magnum opus.”

 

Touted as a horror-comedy, The Raja Saab is among the most anticipated South Indian films this year. When asked what drew her to the project, Riddhi revealed that the opportunity to collaborate with Prabhas again was a major factor. “If I’m being honest, it was the chance to work with Prabhas once more—and this time, as his heroine. What really stood out for me in this film was how real and relatable my character felt. While I can’t reveal too much, I can say I had a great time playing someone who’s both atrocious and adorable,” she added.

 

Riddhi Kumar has carved out a unique space for herself in the industry, having worked across Telugu, Malayalam, Marathi, and other regional film industries. She has also gained recognition in the Hindi digital space with roles in OTT series such as Human, Candy, and Crash Course.

 

Her performance in Superboys of Malegaon earned her critical acclaim, further establishing her as a promising young talent. Balancing her career across Bollywood, regional cinema, and mainstream OTT platforms, Riddhi continues to take on roles that reflect both versatility and authenticity. With The Raja Saab, she adds yet another chapter to her evolving journey in Indian cinema.
