Pa Ranjith confirms film with Kamal Haasan

Kamal Haasan starrer Vikram's trailer and audio launch took place on Sunday. The grand event was graced by the cast and the crew of the film. Apart from the team of Vikram, Udayanidhi Stalin, Simbu, and Pa Ranjith also graced the event.

 

Pa Ranjith confirms film with Kamal Haasan

 

At the event, Pa Ranjith confirmed that he will be making a film with Kamal Haasan. At the trailer launch, Pa Ranjith revealed that he wishes to make a rural based film with Kamal Haasan as the lead. He also said that the film will happen soon. The filmmaker also shared that his favourite film of Kamal is Virumaandi and humourously hinted that the actor can wear a coat and suit in his film that will be set in the backdrop of Madurai.

 

Ranjith is currently working on the post-production works of his romance film Natchathiram Nagargirathu starring Kalidas Jayaram and Dushara Vijayan. He will next direct Chiyaan 61/Maidaanam starring Vikram in the lead with GVP providing the music.

 

Kamal Haasan, on the other hand, will soon be seen in an action packed avatar
