Jr. NTR opens up on winning the Oscar for the song ‘Naatu Naatu’ from RRR; says, “All that pain just vanished in a second”

Its song ‘Naatu Naatu,’ featuring Jr. NTR and Ram Charan, became a global hit and won the Oscar for Best Original Song at the 95th Academy Awards. Recently, Jr. NTR attended a live concert at London’s Royal Albert Hall with Rajamouli and Ram Charan. At the event, he reflected on the Oscar win and shared how much the song continues to mean to him.

Jr. NTR shared his thoughts about the Oscars win, saying, “I think when we won the Oscar, I mean all that pain, all that sweat, all that torture which our director put us through just vanished in a second.” He further mentioned performing the song with Ram Charan, adding, “I think ‘Naatu Naatu’ will be remembered as a very special song not because we won the Oscars or not because we went through a lot of pain, but I will remember ‘Naatu Naatu’ for having shared the screen with an amazing friend of mine, and a fabulous dancer.”

 

RRR featured one of Jr. NTR’s standout performances, marked by emotional depth and strong screen presence. His energy and dancing contributed to the film’s appeal, with performances like his playing a key role in bringing the story to life.

 

On the work front, Jr. NTR is currently filming for his next massive project, NTRNeel, with director Prashanth Neel, promising yet another powerful and unforgettable performance on the big screen.
